RESULT OF APPEAL

The amount of £16,414 5s 10d waa raieed by the Salvation Army in New Zealand in its annual self-denial appeal this year—£lßlß Os fit) more than was raised last year.

The appalling disaster that has overtaken our comrades in Japan will be a further tax upon the General ; and the demands upon him to maintain and advance orur work in non-Christian lands, where opportunities ahounj if only men and money are forthcoming, are increasingly great.
