YESTERDAY'S SITTING POLICE AND MAINTENANCE 1 CASES. Police and maintenance eases were dealt with at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday by Mr E. Page, S.M. A firs-t offender for drunkenness was fined in default 2-1 hours* imprisonment. .John Prythorch, a ship’s carpenter, was 'fined d«, and on a further charge of committing a grossly indecent net in Moleswurtii street, was fined .-Cl, with the option of spending three days in custody. MAINTENANCE OASES. James Rofis Fraser, arrears £l9, was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment, warrant to bo suspended so long as £2 12s Od per week is paid. James O’Meagher, £23 3s in arrear, was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment, warrant to he suspended so long as 17s (id per week is paid. Norman David Isles was ordered to pay 10s per week for the support of lii.s illegitimate child; Keith Harold Pattio was ordered to pay lOs per week for the support of his wife's child.
