It ia hoini-officially announced that President Poincare, previous to the publication of the Bughes-Curzqn correspondence, had informed Mr Hughes lie would accept an international commission of experts to determine Germany’s capacity to pay, but they must be named by the .Reparations Commission. The British Government lias not yet accepted this latter feature, but observers here, commenting upon Paris reports that France and Italy officially announce their acceptance of Mr Hughes’s plan, declare the economic conference is now probably assured, and all smaller differences existing between tho various Powers will shortly be ironed out.
