STAR BOATING CLUB
UNVEILING OP WAR. MEMORIAL.
The unveiling of the Star Boating Club's war memorial will take place at the boathouse this afternoon. The ceremony will be performed by the club s president, Sir Francis Bell. After the ceremony, the Memorial Whaleboat Race will be held, for which crews have been picked as follow: Hereford (str.), Hunt (4), S. Pearce (6), Kelly (2), de Tournettes (bow). McGowan (str.), Newtown (4), West (3), Woodcock (2), Curtis (bow). Diehl (str.), Bentley (4), Cudby (3), Taylor (2), Waugh (.bow). Herd (str.), Marris .4), Whittaker (3), Nicholl (2), Haines (bow). John (str.), StewnTt (4), Gordon (3), Sherlock (2), Vile (bow). Anyon 'str.), Davis (4), Hinge (3), Barraclough (2), E. W. Vance (bow). Reserves, McKinley, Cooke.
