CAPTAIN’S EXPENSES
UNION COMPANY SUED
PLAINTIFF FAILS,
By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received October 26, 11.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 26. Judge Scholes delivered judgment ie the claim of Captain Spain against tho Union Company. He said tho captain showed personal carelessness and negligence, and therefore found that the accident was due to the wilful misconduct of the plaintiff, and lie was not entitled to expenses.
The plaintiff claimed £63 18s, on account of expenses allegedly incurred by him when he gave evidence at tho Marino Court inquiry into tho loss rf tlie Karitane, of which he l was captain.
