EMPLOYEE'S THEFT
GOODS VALUED AT £3O DISAPPEAR.
“This man has been in the employ of B, L. Hart and Company for the past eight years,” suid Chief Detective Kemp at the Magistrate’s Court Nosterday when in conjunction with Albert Patrick Mcßride, Philip Hubert Ogier was charged with stealing fi.m his employers a quantity of mat-tn.-ss cases, tufts and twine valued at £3O.
“Some time ago.” continued the chief detective, “the bedding department of tile firm began to show considerable loss.” Ogier finally admit ted the theft. Ihe two ii.ca had worked in conjunction, Mcßride being an upholsterer by trade, and a cripple. The magistrate decided to remand the two accused until Tuesday morning for sentence.
