Wellington is spending a big sum in building just now, the value of work authorised by the City Council for the past month (winch work is probably biing t.tartod under way just about now) being set dow n at £SI.SSo. and of this city buildings account for £\°-0.6(50, Melrose IATfiHO, Northland C-'d-Y Wade*town £T2. C O. Ohslow £3200, Karori £5595, and Miramar £6ORS.
