ALLEGED THEFT
YOUNG FHvETvLtN ARRESTED.
Yesterday Constable Kano arrested a young man named Leonard Ferguson, on a charge of alleged theft at Gisborne.
Ferguson, who has been employed as a fireman on one of the steamers, will probably be remanded this morning when lie appears before a magistrate, to appear at Gioborne. it was stated that it is probable more than ono charge will be preferred against him.
