ADDICTED TO DRUGS
ALLEGED FORGED PRESCRIPTION. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, October 25. A man. whose name in the meantime has been suppressed, aged 27, was charged at tho Police Court with forging a prescription in the name of Dr. O’Neill, hy moans of which he obtained heroin. The police stated that the accused had a drug habit, and was at the stage of taking very heavy quantities. He was in such a condition this morninn that the doctor ordered him to hospital for treatment. Defendant was remanded for a week.
