COTTON-GROWING
RESTRICTION IN EGYPT. FUTILE POLICY. Australian and N Z Cable Association _ OAIRO, October 23. The law restricting cotton cultivation to one-third of the cultivated area expires at the end of the present cotton season, and will not be renewed. The intention of the law was to reduce the output while maintaining quality, but the cultivators in recent years nave not heeded the restrictions.
