BOUTS AT BLENHEIM.

The Marlborough Boxing Association to-night staged a professional welter bout of fifteen rounds, when. Carl Callaway, of Napier, and formerly of Honolulu, was petted aguinst Tom Rigby, of Blenheim, and iorinerly of Austrulia, for a purse of .275. Both contestants weighed lOst 51b. In the second round Callaway rushed Rigby to the ropes and the latter accidentally fouled Callaway with an elbow, the Napier man being awarded- the fight In tho preliminary amateur bouts IL. Mead defeated Les O'Donnell; Wiss Salherley outpointed Don Straker, of Havelock; E. Ellis, of Wellington, outpointed Jack Rodda; EL Desmond outpointed Doug. Camoron; and J. Gurry, of Wellington, outpointed ]’. Vercoe.
