OVER MOUNT REEVES

TRAMPING CLUB TRIP. Close itpon 50 members of the Tararun and Hutt Valley Tramping Clubs, under the leadership of Messrs I-es Gloss and W. H. Wilson, spent a very enjoyable week-end. tramping from Woodside over Mt. Reeves, down the Tauherenikau valley and over the Tararuas to Kaitoke. The bush and river scenery over this route is particularly fine, and the trip in good weather is one of the best in the Wellington district. The hut accommodation was altogether inadequate for so large a party, and tents were carried. Quite a number of others spent their holiday in the ranges, several visiting Alpha Hut, and others Te Moo Moo hut on the Otaki side.
