Large numbers of people, including parties of Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, inspected many floral tributes at the base of Nelson’s Column from all over the world, including two large wreaths from French and Spanish sailors, and prominent tributes from the branches of the Navy League in Australia, Canada, and ether dominions.
