Von Kahr, it is said, ie determined to insist on tbe resignation of the entire Stresemann Cabinet, and if a peaceful settlement ie impossible lie is ready to force a decision. The Berlin newspapers unanimously agree that Bavaria is in open rebellion, and point out that Bavaria has her own army, which is ready to obey von Kahr and von Lossow. Bavaria insists that she does not want separation from the Reich, but the restoration of the German Federation, on Bismarckinu lines, as tliis is tho only way Germany can find a way baok to power. The Stresemann Cabinet lias decided to attempt mediation through tho Federal Council.
