REMARKABLE FIGURES. By Telegraph.—Prose Assn.—Copyright. (Received October 22, 10.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 22. The annual conference of the Master Builders’ Federation of Australia opened to-day. Speaking at the welcome to delegates, the Lord Mayor said the building trade throughout Australia had never been more prosperous. The cost of the buildings being erected m Sydney this year was double that of any previous year. Buildings worth over £2,000,000 were in course of construction m one street alone.
