The St. John Ambulance eompetitiens were held to-day cn Caroline Bay, when a large entry of squads as far afield as Wellington competed. Principal results: — Wells Shield (women): —Timaru A 1, Wellington South 2. Won by quarter of a point. District Fiist Aid Cup (women): — Selwyn A 1, Timaru A 2. Home Nursing Cup : —Timaru A T, Christchurch Nursing 2. District Rose Bowl, Wells Shield and Dunlop Cycle Shield (all men): Timaru squad 1. District Champion Squad (women): Selwyn A 1, Timaru Nursing A 2. Squad ’Loader Championship (woman): —Miss Ollivier (Christchurch). Squad Leader Championship (men): — Corp. McSherry (Christchurch). Squad Members Championship (women): —Miss Bell (Timaru). Squad Members Championship (men): —Drown (Christchurch).
