Dominion organiser for the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, addressed a representative meeting of Central Otago fruitgrowers on the organisation of all producing interests. As a result the southern fruitgrower© sent a rvroposal to bo submitted to tbe Farmers’ Union executive seeking federation with them, and assuring Mr Buxton of support in securing tlie fruitprowot* of Central Otago as members of tha Farmers' Union.
