NAVAL SQUADRON’S VISIT
ITINERARY OMITS DUNEDIN. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, October 19. Information has been received in Dunedin that the special cruiser squadron which is making a world cruise, and to which the new flagship New Zealand is attached, will call only at Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton. This treatment of the southern portion of the island is strongly resented, and on behalf of the people of Otago the Expansion League has cabled to Mr Massey requesting him to arrange for the visiting of the vessels to Otago harbour. Tlie action taken by tho Expansion League has tlie wholehearted support of the Chamber of Commerce.
