The question of outstanding hospital fee#; has been discussed by the Taurar.ga Hospital Board. It was reported that the matter was receiving close attention from the Tauranga. and To Puke Committees. Several members expressed the opinion that everything ix.-ssibie must be done to seem e payments wheefc possible. In one instance a Maori, who owed over £BO, bad given an order to the board, which it is believed will ultimately result in the liquidation of the debt. Nearly one-eighth of the surface of Sweden is covered by lakes. An international exhibition of fishing crafts, the first of its kind, is to be neld at Boulogne, France, this month.
