SOME PRESS CARIOSITIES. Tho biggest newspaper ever published wa« the “Illuminated Quadruple (ininteiiatioii,” issued in New York in 1809. The paper measured 84 ft in height anu 611 in width, and consisted of eight pages, each containing 13 columns. ,A roam of the strong paper on which it was printed weighed 3ewt. Forty people wore occupied continually for eight weeks in order to bring out this oddity, which its designers proposed should be issued once every century !
