CAT TURNS ON THE GAS
Twenty people spending the night at the Rose and Crown Inn, Ramsgate, had a narrow escape from gas-poisoning. Mr Charles Penny, son of the licensee, awoke in the morning, and found tlie house full £»*>• ft- was found that the household cat, while chasing a mouse during the night, had jumped on to Uio gas stove, thus turning the main jet lull ' on. All the people in the inn wore i more or less affected, but there were no | serious cases.
