SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY
Mr Alex. Good gave his first concert at tho Sailois* Friend Society on Thursday, ■which was attended with great success, most of the items being encored with vigour. Tho performers were: —Mrs Irwin, the Misses Morris, Aluriel Aitchison. Pony, Dunnett. Golding, and Afessrs V. James, Alox. Good. Jet-sop and Taylor. Miss Golding wp,s at the piano. The competitions retain their popularity and again afforded endless pleasure. Tho prizes came from Mr Curlew and went to the Canadian Constructor and Ulimaroa. Mr Aloore, missioner, announce-! that arrangements were well in hand for Labour Day picnic.
