WEATHER FORECAST
(By t&e Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (4 p.m. yesterday), are for moderate to strong southerly winds northward of Farewell Spit end Kaikoura, and westerlies elsewhere. Weather cold and fair to cloudy generally, but scattered showers probable, especially along the east coast of the North Island. Barometer unsteady, with a rising tendency in the north and a falling tendency in the south.
