ANTI-JEWISH FEVER
WIDESPREAD IN AUSTRIA. SCHOOLS AFFECTED. Published in ‘‘The Times * VIENNA, October 16. An anti-Jewish campaign is spreading in Austria, and is being taken up in every branch of social activity. Jb is hottest in the higher educational establishments in Vienna, which are overcrowded with Jewish students. There is a constant agitation to limit the number of Jews admitted to the schools. The council of the Agricultural College has decided- to exclude Jewish teachers from its staff. The movement has spread even to the world of sport, for the Austrian ski clubs have adopted rules debarring Jews from membership.
