CHILD ASPHYXIATED
CHOKED BY FEEDING BOTTLE TEAT. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, October 17. The two-months’ old. baby child of Mr Frank Shand, of Rimu, was choked to death through a teat of a feeding bottle becoming detached. The mother gave the child a bottle while she went to perform housework, -and returning in about ten minutes found the teat had come off the bottle into tlie child’s mouth, asphyxiating it.
