The next dispatch for correspondence addressed to United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, and United States of America via San Francisco, will be per R.M.S. Tahiti, closing at Wellington, Tuesday, October 30th, at 1 p.m.; mail due London about December 3rd. Mails for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (specially addressed correspondence only), also Monte Video and Teneriffo, per Tainui, close at Wellington Wednesday, October Slat. at 10 a.m. Malls which left Auckland on August 7th. per R.M.S. Makura, via Vancouver, arrived at London on September Bth; also mails which left Wellington on August 28th, per R.M.S. Tahiti, via Sen Francisco, arrived at London on September 28th. INCOMING OVERSEA MAILS. (Arrival dates approximate only.) S.s. Ulimaroa left Sydney on October 13th. She carries 31 bags of Australian mail and 20 parcel-receptacles for Wellington ; due here October 17th. S.s. Marama left Sydney for Auckland on October 12th. She carries 27 bags of Australian mail for Wellington; mail due here October 17th. R. Niagara left Vancouver on October 6th for Auckland/She carries 1168 bags mail for New Zealand; mail duo here October 27th. S. Hauraki left San Francisco fof Auckland on September 29th. She carries 187 bags mail and 283 parcel-receptaclee for New Zealand; mail due here October 23rd. LABOUR DAY. On Monday, October 22nd (Labour Day), the Post Office will be closed in all its branches. Mails due to close on Monday, October 22nd, will close at midnight on Sunday, October 21st. These mails will include correspondence cleared from the city and suburban receivers at midnight on Sunday, October 21st. There will be no clearance of city and suburban receivers between midnight on Sunday and midnight on Monday. There will be no delivery by postmen on Monday, October 22nd, but on Saturday, October 20th, the postmen’s branch (on first floor, General Post Office, entrance from Featherston street) will be open from 8 j to 9 p.m. for delivery of correspondence j directed to addresses in the city and suburbs.
