CANADIAN TOUR ENDS. OVATION AT WINNIPEG. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received October 15, 10.10 p.m.) OTTAWA, October 14. A message from Winnipeg states that having finished his Canadian tour. Mr Lloyd George departed for Minneapolis. A record gathering attended on Saturday night to hear his speech, and ho received an ovation everywhere about tho streets. He concluded an interview- on the European situation by saying that -ne instinct of self-preservation would assert itself. “That is the best hope. I believe m mankind, which, after all, was made in the image of God.’’
