“HEALTH WEEK”
DOES PETONE REQUIRE ONE? “In mv opinion,” said Mr W. B. Gough, the Petone boiough sanitary inspector, at last night’s meeting of the Petone Borough Council when the question of a “Health Week” was raised, “the fact’ that the necessity exists for a clean-up week is a disgrace to the people of a borough.” In the inspector’s ' opinion there should be no reed for a “clean up” at all. for the reason that the borough should be kept clean all the year round. “Perhaps we could have a New Year’s bonfire on the beach,” suggested the Mayor, Air J. W. McEwan.
