The provision of playgrounds for Wellington always has been a problem, and an. interesting point mentioned to a “Times” reporter yesterday was the likelihood of the problem being intensified now that bodies of ivonion are making requests to be furnished with aieas to play on. It is pointed out that whenever a women’s club is founded its membership fills up quickly, and l here is soon a strong demand for a suitable ground. If the number of women's bodies incicases, it is contended, the difficulty of finding grounds will be increased. And tho members of the far- sex smilo charmingly—and go on forming clubs!
