ROTARY BOYS’ NIGHT

The Wellington Rotary Club, in preparing a first-class programme for the boys* "night out” at tha Town Hall on Friday, has met wit-i hap on every hand, because the object appeals 60 thoroughly to all. The programme, almost completed, provides for variety, and especially for the tastes of the expected big audience. John Fuller and Sons, Ltd., have kindly permitted a selection of an attractive item from their current piogramme at His Majesty’s, and some well-known vocalists will provide items. Mr Frank Andrews, a Wellington entertainer at the piano, fresh from a successful theatrical tour in Australia, will give selections from his bright repertoire, and the boys of Wellington will be well represented in the programme, gymnastic displays having been arranged by tho boys from the Y.M.C.A. and the Boys' Institute. Mr Bert Royle, on behalf of Messrs J. C. Williamson, has provided the cinematograph for projection of some first-class films, and the while audience is expected to provide some of the entertainment by means of community singing, with Mr W. J. Mason directing, and Mr Harry Wilson ar the piano. Among the bands to march to the Town Hall before the performance will be that of the Boys' Institute. It was originally proposed to oiganise a big procession of boys, but weather is an uncertain factor, and Itotarians wish all hoys to make their way to the Town Hall on their own account. They walk straight in without charge.
