HERETAUNGA THE ISLINGTON CUP. There was a field of about twenty pairs entered for the Islington Cup at Ueretaunga on Saturday, when some interesting games were witnessed under ideal weather conditions. H. j Whitcombe, 4 down. HUTT CLUB QUALIFYING ROUNDS FOR CHAMPIONSHIP. Play was continued during tlie week-end under good conditions, for the second qualifying round for the Hutt Club championship. A men's four-ball match was played on Saturday, fifty players taking part. The match resulted in a win for A. E. Conway and A. B. Hamilton, 6 up on bogey, who were closely followed by J. H. The gold button competition has been postponed till November 24th. LADIES* GAMES HUTT v. MIRAMAR. A return match, Hutt v. Miramar (ladies), was to have been played this weok, but has been ixvstponed till early next month, in view of Hutt and Wellington Ladies' Chibs having arranged a fixture for this week.
