WANTED; CHIMPANZEES
REJUVENATING THE AGED. RESULTS ENCOURAGING. Australian and NZ. Cable Association* (Received October 14, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS October 13. Lecturing before the Coitgrem of Surgeons on M. VoronofTs method of rejuvenating the aged by grafting chimpanzee glands, Dr Baudot, an eminent surgeon, «said that tho result thus far was extremely encouraging, although it was toe early to claim that old age had been vanquished. Unfortunately the continuance of tho experiments was limited bv the rarity of the special kind of chimpanzee required. As a sequel to the lecture, two prominent surgeons were grafted by M. Voronoff in the presence of members of the congress.
