LIVE STOCK ENTRIES CLOSE TODAY. Saturday, October 13th, is the date set apart for the dosing of all livo stock entries for the above fixture. This includes all ring events, competitions, and fleece wool. The show office, Cuba street, will re main open all this (Saturday) afternoon for the convenience of tho9e exhibitors who are unable to make their entries before. There is still time to obtain a prize list for the purpose of making entries. x It should not be thought that because a number of entries cannot be made that it im useless making one entry. Every single entry helps to make the show. The committees have been untiring in their efforts to present an attractive prize list to the “ public replete with substantial cash prizes, with numerous specials in each'section, not to mention the number of handsome and valuable cups which are competed for at this shew. Tlie Manawatu Kennel Club have had to abandon their annual exhibition this year, but it is hoped that the dog men will work up a record show next year in conjunction with the first Boyal Show of New Zealand.
