President Harding, addressing a con. vention of the Daughters of the American Revolution, declared: “The destiny of the race and the future of civilisation depended on the finding of an answer to the problems of the world, and on our sincere, generous, broadminded acceptance of that answer, but until new paths are well revealed, we must hold secure to those which we have inherited. “We shall not find an answer whieewili be completely satisfactory to any State, race, or people, but if we pursue the quest open-mindedly, I believe we shall in the end discover an advantage for the common welfare.”
