I have not the good fortune to be included on any ticket, and, being of a retiring disposition, may not be known to the hulk of electors in this large and 1 important City. At the same time, haying allowed my nomination to go forward, I wish to say I will give of my -best if hoonured '.by being elected. I think some new blood in the Council will be for the 1 best interests of the City, and, though I cannot claim any great knowledge of municipal affairs, I hope to bring to bear a fair amount of COMMON SENSE and BUSINESS ABILITY ori the doings of the Council. 1 hare been about fifteen years in Wellington, and am supposed to he one of the leading Tailors in the Dominion.
