WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS. A meeting of the management committee of tile \\ eiiington Cricket Association was held last evening, when Air O. G. Wilson presided. Other members present Were Messrs W. G. Hughes, V- B. Broad, J. Reid, L AJutrphy, P. R-. Fulton, W. . R. Bock. , ... The South Canterbury Association wrote stating that they could not make any guarantee with regard to a match against Wellington, but stated that such a match would be a great benefit to cricket in that province, and that the Association would do everything possible to make the match a success. It was decided to play the match on February 21st and 22nd. Lyall Bay Club wrote stating that as they were unable to -muster ■a * full team for their Third B. B team, they were reluctantly compelled to withdraw this team. A letter was received from the Lodge of St. Andrew informing the association that they were holding a picnio on the Rona Bay grounds on February 24tli, and that as the association had fixtures on that_ ground the lodge would be grateful if these matches would be transferred to another ground, as there was a great danger of flying halls to the large number of children who will be present.—Referred to the Junior Committee. The application for the transfer of B. Woodcock from the. Kaianga Club to the Thorndon Club was refused; It was decided to play the Junior A. . match, Sefwyn v. Kilbirnie on Basin Reserve on February 24th and March 3rd. It was decided that the last date for sending in club dues be extended to February 19th. The secretary was . instructed to notify the custodian of tiie Basin Reserve that a practice wicket would he required . .for. the. ..representative team to-day and to-morrow. SENIOR FIXTURES. Senior fixtures for Saturday are as fallow: Wellington v. Thorndon at Basin Reserve No. 1. Old Boys v. Y.M.C.A. at Basin Reserve No 2. Petone v. Institute at Petone. Midland v. Hutt at Hutt. The Junior A match, Hutt v. Johnsonville, will he played at Johnsonville, not at Hutt, as previously advertised.
