INTERESTING EXHIBITION. Quite a number of unusually interesting and instructive displays will be made at the War Materials Exhibition, which will be opened at the Drill Hall, Buckle street, on Saturday, in aid of the Artillery and Ist Battalion Band.”. The exhibition has been promoted t-y officers of the garrison under the presidency oi Lieut.-Colonel R. St. J. Beere, D. 5.0., Coast Defence Commander, and is made up of the chief exhibits of the National War Museum which nave not previously been seen in Wellington. In the display, taking up the whole of the Drill Hall, will be Upwards of a dozen different sections, each of which ordinarily would he considered an exhibition by itself. These will include special exhibits presented to the New Zealand Government by the Chinese, Japanese, Indian,’ Greek, British, and United States .Governments, captured war trophies, every gun in use in New Zealand, and hundreds of special photographs. In addition, special exhibitions of war films will ce shown.
