STRANGE BEQUEST
FORTUNE FOR FRIEND AND ITS CONDITIONS. PARIS, December 23. A strange story of a Boston woman, Miss Fay Heller, who is said to have loft her entire fortune of many million dollars to a French companion and friend, with the stipulation that she must spend the rest of her life roaming tho world and caring for pet animals which tho American is supposed to have loft in various corners of the Globe, has been brought to light in tho French Courts. Madame Marcel Leon Tardi, tn« Frenchwoman /in- question, appeared in a suit which had been lodged against her for the recovery of 35.000 francs which, it is alleged, she borrowed on the strength of a photograph of the American lady’s will. After years <f friendship and compait Kinship on board Miss Heller’s yacht, Madame Tardi claims that she wan notified of her friend’s death in 1921 and a ,ow days later sho received the will, which cut off all relatives in America and gave everything to her. Miss Heller’s cousin, Mr Wilbur Heller, was named executor. It is stated that police investigation has proved that Madame Tardi is id possession of too original will. She is now awaiting tho arrival of Alias Holler s sister, -Who has written her trom Africa.—Exchange.
