ALLEGED VICTIMISATION
DISMISSAL OF WAITRESSES. Per Prr-ss Association. GREYMOUTH, February 5. Mrs Mclntyre, licensee of the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel, was proceeded against by the Department of Labour in the Magistrate’s Court to-day for dismissing two waitresses because they joined a newly-constituted " employees’ union. Mr Meldrum. S.M., convicted defendant, and fined her £lO, with costs.
