DEATH OF AN INFANT
CHOKED BY PEAPOD. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, January 19. A child of Mr A. P. Perano, of Picton, 17 months old, choked itself with a pea pod, whioh lodged in the wind•pipe. The child died before a surgeon boiddL remove the obstruction.
