TURK WHO IS ALWAYS SATISFIED. Recently interviewed at Lausanne by the representative of the Exchange Telegraph Company, Ismet Pasha said:— “I can express no opinion as to the ‘marriage* of the Balkan States, for 1 uas not invited to the ceremony, even as a witness. As regards the ‘marriage* of Turkey and Russia, there is no secret clause. Oar relations are excellent, and the Treaty we have signed with Russia is one for mutual aid.” Asked if Turkey was satisfied with the progress of the conference, Ismet rolioa, with his ever-present smile, "Oh, Turkey is always satisfied.”—Exchange.
