GERMAN PEOPLE UNITE TO RESIST DEMANDS
LEADERS SUMMONED TO COURT-MARTIAL FURTHER FRENCH ADVANCE POSSIBLE ARMED RESISTANCE MOOTED .ne French, it is reported to-day, are prepared to take any action, even to advance on Berlin, to compel the Ruhr coal owners to supply all the coal required by the invaders. On the other side, the representatives of the German Government, the coal owners, and the miners’ unions, have resolved to defy the French. The advance of the French troops to Munster, the capital city of Westphalia, is forecasted. If it eventuates, detachments of the Relchswehr may attempt armed resistance. Six of the leading industrial leaders in the Ruhr have been summoned to a court-martial for disobeying orders.
