LAMBTON QUAY PROPERTY
SOLD AT £6OO A FOOT. Another important sale of property In Lambton quay, Wellington, was effected yesterday by private treaty. The premises were sold by Mr Gerald Fitzgerald, of Tinakori road, to Mr James Stewart, electrical engineer and contractor, of Courtenay place, who intends to make alterations to bring it in line with modern requirements. The land was valued at £6OO per foot and was sold at this price, the total price being £12,000. The premises are 254, Lambton quay, recently occupied by E. Norton and Co.
