LONDON, January 9. Two youths’were examining a largo barnacle-covered German mine, which cams asliore on the Cork coast, when the mine exploded and blew tbem to fragments. Only a portion of one’s leg was recovered. A third youth, some distance away, was made unconscious and lost his hearing. The explosion was heard 15 miles away.
