EASTBOURNE
PAVILION AND TENNIS COURTS. Work is proceeding for the completion of six tennis courts on the south side of the recreation ground. The foundations have already been cleaned out, but what the actual surfacing will be is not yet decided. It is, however, hoped to have them completed and ready for play early in the new year. The foundations have also been laid of the new pavilion on the east side of the entranoo to the recreatior. ground and close to the beach. This is expected to be completed by Christ mas.
The Tramways Band has already given two Sunday concerts, and they are to play every other Sunday, practising test music in the morning and giving a concert in the afternoon.
