CLOSING THE ROLLS
THURSDAY THE EAST DAY. REGISTRAR-GENERAL’S WARNING. “Times” readors. should note that if anyone is not on the roll he or she ’will not be able to record their opinion in the forthcoming political contest. The Registrar-General informed the “Times” representative on Saturday that tlie rolls will dose definitely oh Thursday at 6 o’clock, and all applications for enrolment must be handed in to the district registrars before that hour or they will be too late. All those entitled to vote should therefore see that their names are on the roll, and if not to enrol at once.
