BARNS.—On August 28« h, 1922, at Moutere Private Hospital, Otaki, Maude Mary, beloved wife of J. Neville Baras, in her 38th year. SALT.—On August 27th, at Auckland', after a short illness, Edith Caroline Salt, mucli-beloved mother of H. Spenoor Salt, of Hamilton, and G. Mcß. Salt, of the Auckland University College; aged 55 years; Just "mother."
