YESTERDAY'S SITTING. POLIOS ANB INDICTABLE OFFENCES. Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court vesterday, when two first offending inebriates were treated in the usual manner. For drunkenness, Daniel Sullivan, against whom one previous conviction, woe fined 10s, in default twentyfour hours imprisonment. j FAILURE TO COMPLY. Brio Garnett Toulson, on a charge of failing to comply with the terms of his lelease on probation, was remanded until Friday for sentence. VALUELESS CHEQUE. A young man named Harold White pleaded guilty to having, at Westport, obtained A 3 from Reginald Hickford, by means of a valueless cheque, drawn on the Bank of New South Wales, Westport and was fined 455, in default one month’s imprisonment Other cases heard will be found under separate headings.
