GREAT CONFIDENCE COUP
LONDON SOCIETY SENSATION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received August 30, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, August 29. A sensation was caused in social city circles by a £IO,OOO confidence coup, which was effected at the expense of Hatton Garden dealers. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Major Harrison, formerly of the Dragoon Guards, who departed for the Continent. One of the principal gems was sold at Antwerp two days after the robbery.
