BROUGHAM HILL CLUB. The twenty-third annual report ef tho Brougham Hill Tennis Club states that the membership last season was 105, and prospective members, had to he turned away owing; to the limit being reached. The club holds six out of the seven in-ter-club competitions arranged by the Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis As. eociation, and at the Christmas tournament of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association the Wilding Memorial Chal. lenge Cup anidi gold medal for juniors were won by Miss Rita Howe the third time in succession. Thanks are tender, ed by the committee to Dr. A. K. New. man, M.P., Sir Kenneth Douglas, Dr E. W. Smyth, and Dr. B. I. Duggle for donations, and to the Press.
